Where it comes from
From the farm to your table
Our bee colonies live on the hill at La Borie. Dylan looks after the hives, and he does it with real passion.
October is when the bees are put to bed for winter: one last visit to each colony (honey stores, the queen, general health), then entrance reducers go on against the cold and the field mice. Around the hives, the heather offers one of the last flowering meals of the season.
Next year, with Axel's help, we will introduce new queens to give our colonies fresh vigour.
